In order to build your twitter social network for marketing you need to have a way to add and remove followers in Bulk. When you are following people who are not following you or not active on Twitter, this affects your ratio. Twitter puts limits on your ratio of followers vs. non-followers. You don’t want to follow too many people who are not listening to you or not using Twitter actively.
That are quite a few websites and applications on the internet that you can use. There might be more in the future as Twitter applications are expanding every day. Lately twitter has been overwhelmed with traffic so they are still playing catch up with applications.
1. Twitter Karma
This service is pretty easy to use. Just enter your twitter log in information and authorize the Karma application to access your account. This will give you access to the program and allow you to bulk follow and un-follow. It also shows you the photos of the people who you are in your network and tells you if you are following them or not. This one seems to be the best that I have used so far. However, when you get to 5000 followers I have been told that this program doesn’t work anymore.
2. Huitter Mutuality
This website gives you three choices and allows you to see the results when it is done. You can Un-follow all who do not follow you back , Un-follow all, or Follow all who follows you . You can only use this 3 times if you have more than 1800 followers.
3. TwitIn
With this website, you can choose who to follow or un-follow. However, you can only do bulk follow or un-follow 25 people at a time. Therefore it can take a while if you are dealing with big number.
4. FlashTweet
Beside the usual follow and un-follow people in your account, this website has a special feature which is not found elsewhere. It lets you bulk follow someone else’s followers. The best part about this service is it has a video tutorial that shows you exactly how to use the application.
5. Untweeps
Now this website actually will let you monitor who is following by the month. You can see who you are following which are inactive for more than 30, 60 or 90 days. You can then choose who you want to un-follow.
These are the sites I know so far. If you know anymore, please let me know and I will update this article.
